Planning your visit to Pope’s Haunted Farm should be as smooth as possible… even if the scares aren’t! Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions we hear from our brave guests. If you still have questions after reading, feel free to reach out to us directly.
Pope’s Haunted Farm specializes in fright-filled experiences that go beyond Halloween. From our iconic seasonal attractions like the Haunted Hayride, Haunted Barn, and Haunted Forest to special events such as ‘My Bloody Valentine’ and ‘Scream Break,’ we bring thrills and chills throughout the year. Whether you’re seeking a spooky night out or an unforgettable group adventure, there’s always something terrifyingly fun happening at the farm!
Our attractions are designed to provide a spine-chilling experience and are not recommended for children under the age of 12. However, we leave it to parents’ discretion to decide if younger visitors can handle the frights. Keep in mind, some events, like the Haunted Forest, are rated extreme and may be too intense for younger guests.
For younger children, we recommend starting with the Haunted Hayride. It offers thrilling sights and spooky fun without the up-close scares found in the Haunted Barn or Forest. While it’s still designed to be spooky, the hayride tends to be a more family-friendly experience for kids who enjoy a little fright without too much intensity.
Yes, we have concessions on-site to keep you fueled for the frights. Enjoy classic options like hamburgers, hot dogs, cokes, chips, and candy. Be sure to grab a bite before or after braving our attractions!
Absolutely! Our attractions are designed to deliver spine-chilling thrills and heart-pounding scares. From eerie atmospheres to jump-out-of-your-skin surprises, we aim to leave you trembling and coming back for more. Are you brave enough to face the fear?
Tickets can only be purchased onsite at Pope’s Haunted Farm’s ticket office. We do not sell tickets online or at any offsite locations. If someone tries to sell you tickets elsewhere, they are counterfeit, and you will not be admitted. Be sure to purchase directly from us to ensure your entry!
We prefer cash for faster transactions, but we also accept checks, debit, and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard only). Please note, using a credit or debit card may slow down ticket lines, and a $2 processing fee will be charged.
Yes, we have designated waiting areas where you can relax while your group experiences the attractions. Feel free to grab some snacks from our concessions or enjoy the spooky atmosphere from a safe distance!
All of our events are outdoors, so we keep a close eye on the weather. If heavy rain occurs, we’ll temporarily pause operations for your safety but will resume as soon as the downpour passes. Light rain won’t stop the scares, so be sure to dress appropriately and prepare for a frightful night—rain or shine!
Yes, our attractions feature strobe lights, fog machines, and other special effects to create an immersive and spine-chilling experience. If you or someone in your group is sensitive to these effects, please take precautions before attending.
We do not recommend our attractions for anyone who is pregnant or has heart problems, back, knee, or neck issues, or other medical conditions. The hayride is bumpy, the barn is cramped, and the haunted forest features uneven floors in the dark. Participation is at your own risk.
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns under any circumstances, including inclement weather. Please plan accordingly before purchasing your tickets.
Our actors will not grab or intentionally touch you. However, due to the nature of our attractions, close encounters may happen in tight spaces or dark areas. Please avoid touching the actors to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
The Haunted Hayride can accommodate wheelchair users, but you will need to transfer to a bench seat. Please note, the ride is very bumpy. The Haunted Barn and Haunted Forest are not wheelchair accessible, as they are walkthrough attractions featuring tight corners, uneven floors, and suspension bridges. If you have specific accessibility concerns, feel free to contact us for more information.
Yes, we offer group rates for groups of 25 or more. To qualify, all group members must be present at the same time, AND tickets must be purchased for all three attractions. For more information or to book your group, please give us a call.
The Haunted Hayride can accommodate 30 to 35 people at a time. For the walkthrough attractions, groups of 6 to 8 can enter together.
